Bedara Kannappa – The Devotee of Lord Shiva

Beddara Kannappa – A Symbol of Unwavering Devotion

Bring home the timeless story of Beddara Kannappa, a revered figure in Shaivite tradition whose devotion to Lord Shiva is remembered for its extraordinary depth and selflessness. A tribal hunter by origin, Kannappa is traditionally believed to have worshipped a Shiva Lingam in the forest with pure and unconditional devotion. When he saw the Lingam in distress, he is said to have offered both his eyes as an ultimate expression of devotion.

This beautifully handcrafted representation captures the spirit of faith, sacrifice and unconditional love that defines the story of Kannappa.

Handcrafted with care, this sculpture is made from clay and finished by hand with a fine stone finish, giving it the appearance and character of a traditional stone sculpture. Every detail is carefully shaped and finished by skilled hands, making each piece distinctive.
